aside from me being a lazy sack of shit and not taking progress pics? not much :)

as of now it's like, 90% functional. i only say 90% because a fully functioning gun should have a safety, which i haven't gotten around to fitting yet. i haven't bought any dummy rounds yet, but i bet it'll fire bullets just fine if i tried :D

at least the grip safety "works" (right now it requires only a feather touch)

also, sorry about the whole lack of updates thing... shit's been crazy around the house lately. either that or i'm crazy busy. for the past couple of months i've been renovating a house to prep it for sale, i'm finally at the home stretch and will probably be done in the next week or two. after that i'll have ALOT more free time, i PROMISE i'll take some pics and document what i did (some of the processes were... interesting)

i have no way of measuring the pull weight, but yeah i'll agree that it's fucking light. the only other gun in my house that i know the pull weight of (approximately) is the tavor, and that's supposed to be about 12lbs... i'd say it takes about a third of the force to pull this trigger, give or take. so somewhere around 4lbs is my guess

yeah but i get the feeling i would butcher that sooooo bad lol. not sure what i think about the bobbed grips, i get that it's more of a "snag free" design but i don't really plan on concealed carrying this thing (not that you really can in MD anyway). if i was gonna CC something i'd get an LCR or something of that nature

i think i got really fucking lucky because i pretty much just slapped that shit together and it works like this

so here's the list of parts i'm currently missing:

    *sights
*grips (though i plan to make those myself)
*main housing spring (thought i ordered that, guess not though)
    *9mm firing pin

i've been really bad about taking pictures, i'll take a few after work and go over a few issues i've had

I forgot if you mentioned this; do you think you'll do a bobbed grip?

unfortunately not - i mean, i finally fit the barrel bushing to the slide, but that's about it. been SUPER busy lately with the new car & finishing up my house so i can sell it. after that i should have plenty of free time :D

yep, got a message from brownells this morning. while it DOES state that on the product page, its in such small font near the bottom of the page. i wish they had put that little tidbit on the specs of the slide or something... oh well, not much to be done now.

on a positive note, i put the beavertail jig on last night and started filing it down. progress has been slow and the beavertail pinhole doesn't quite line up with the frame yet, but it's getting there
