Own one of my leather goods? click! if not still click :D

Almost 2 years ago I sold a black dress belt with a stingray end keeper to a customer and he contacted me a few days ago because the buckle snapped, it was a cast buckle I got off a vintage belt since I did not stock anything that small(1-1/4"). He was super chill about the issue and sent in back in for free repair, I replaced it with a solid brass roller buckle and made a new end keeper to his desires with a hidden rivet.

It got me thinking when I did the hidden rivet on this belt repair; about how amazing the response to my work has been! I notice the growth and skill in the finished product and when I see early work it makes me happy, I notice things I have changed and new designs and function. Do not be content with the latest, strive to outshine your last effort in everything you do.

In 2014 I took my small hobby and went to make it into a business, in the world of fashion this is a VERY hard thing to do, it is hard because of main stream leather work that is carrying an in house name to the market I target(selvedge denim, high end work wear). At the end of 2014 I pulled in nearly 8k in sales, I know that is nothing special but it is not a flop! For 2015 I am ahead by 1/3 and projecting 10-12k in sales, I have my dry week every other month, but the point of all this is; I saw something and I put in the hard work, no sales and leap of faith to spend thousands making this real, I love what I am doing and I am so grateful for response of complete strangers outside this forum and just in general! In the coming month I am being showcased in a HUGE online mag/review blog. Funny thing...in 2012 if someone told me I would being sewing and own two sewing machines I would have laughed at them...let alone spend nearly 1k on a single machine!

So for everyone that was there from the start, thank you! If it was not for you buying a belt, a wallet or some other item I would not be here right now, I would not have had orders to pay for leather so that I could afford to buy more leather and progress in a higher finish.

Please post a photo of your leather that you bought from me, I want to see the wear and patina! For everyone that posts you will get a PM from me for a 25% discount code for my etsy pricing!

Check out all the new items!

I've had two of Brandon's wallets, the first was an all leather piece that he dyed exactly how I wanted (a very specific shade/patina of red) which was stolen. I liked it so much that my gf bought me one of his stingray leather wallets to replace the last one about a year ago. I use this wallet everyday and love it. I get compliments and comments on it all the time. As far as wear, the wallet has stretched slightly with usage but still holds all my cards and cash perfectly and shows almost no exterior deterioration or seperation of the stitching.

Basically the best wallet I've owned. Keep up the good work man! I will be a customer of yours for life!

Congratulations on seeing a market for your product and seizing it. It's nice to see hand crafted products on the market again. Makes me miss the old mom and pop businesses of my childhood.

Brandon, You know I have several little custom projects coming up in the near future for you. In Fact I dont think I have bought a "Stock" item from you yet, everything has been custom stuff......

I really appreciate the quality (in both material and craftsmanship) and thought and time put into your design work. In all honesty the belt pouch you made for me going on 2 years ago I was a touch skeptical about how you had attached the belt loop, Well I will say all that has all faded away I have been on a dead run and snagged my multi-tool pouch on a tree. It spun me 1/2 way around but didnt let go of my belt or tear any leather or stitching, did stretch a little bit but not enough to complain about. I will see about getting you a more current shot its been in use nearly every day since I got at work in the trades, or just at home sitting around watching tv, long hikes and back country horse/hunting trips. That pouch really has become part of my no compromise cant walk out of my bed room in the morning with out it on my left hip Every SINGLE day something is amiss I dont feel right with out it essential daily kit.

And yet I dont see any mulit tool pouches on your etsy ;) See if we can fix that with a couple of those custom projects we have discussed lol

Thanks! my long term plan is to have my own store front where people can come in and get fitted and repairs of old items. I would like to offer a mix of other goods from metal workers, denim, shoes etc.

You are one of my favorite friends to deal with, you wear Filson and understand the value of a finely crafted item that is built to last! I look forward to making awesome things that travel with you daily! And that back strap on the case was circle stitched! Ripping off is something that MIGHT happen after the leather snapped.

The issue with listing Multicases is simple; there is too many of them out there ranging in a wide range of shapes. I am currently making two multicases right now :)

Oh I know, and totally understand, but I will prolly be sending you 3 maybe 4 of the most common ones to pattern from though out this summer, Leatherman Surge, Wave, and more than likely a Rebar and my long time trusty gerber 600. as a nice muilt is going to be family Christmas gifts this year with a high quality pouch

            These among other projects........

I love my wallet, belts and key fobs. I love my oxblood belt so much I rarely wear it. It just hangs up to be admired.

You should make leather tow straps.

These wallets do not fall apart, so long run it will be cheaper.
