Because at the end, total spent would be 8k less than purchasing. Considering the car would only be worth abou 8k in the end, its saving the hassle of selling. And sorry, but a Fiesta just isn't a car I would want to keep for a long time. Fun fuel efficient DD and that's as far as it goes.

Nah, not yet, but I've been getting laid here and there, so that certainly helps.

Lol. 4k down on Fiesta lease puts it at about $177 a month. I spend $350 a month on gas right now. So sorry, at 36mpg it would cost me $50 a month more. Plus insurance of course but that's OK, because saved mileage on my car.

I never said that there wouldn't be more money spent. Just that monthly it would cost what my S4 takes in fuel, which I don't want to be putting that many miles on anyway.

Even then, its just a thought. I'll put a windshield and exhaust on the Miata and drive it before I buy a new car.

I'm here off and on. I've got myself and S50 to swap, and I need parts.

Sold my M42 Touring in Dec. 2012...then had an SF Forester Turbo, then an E34, now i'm back in an E28. Don't see another e30 in my near future unless it's an M3...that's why there's not gonna be one. Anyway, e34 M5's are outright cheaper.

You can buy it back now. https://portland.craigslist.org/wsc/cto/5127921970.html

Looks like the current owner took out the lip/oil pan and steering rack in an even, but aside looks just like you sold it.

Again I say. Guy needs to take down that ad.

And your assumption about the pan/rack is correct.

That said, I'm looking for whomever bought the wreck of my old e30 from the guy who killed it. All I know is that he sold what was left of it.

I want the euro manual rack from it.

Slower than my power e36 rack, sure. Which is butter.

But the responsiveness and feedback on the manual rack always amazed me. It always had a very knowing rebound that I could control with my fingertips if I so desired.

All in all it felt a bit more organic to me.

I was one of the original members here and got out of BMW entirely for awhile. I was flat broke to cancer and $1000 repair bills add up fast on these cars. I have had E30s E28 E24s etc. I didnt know how good these cars were till I went and drove some other stuff for awhile. Its shocking.

I went and got an Fbody for awhile with around 450Rwhp. Car was spotless and fast but really was a heap in build quality and road feel etc. It had around 60K in mods in it guy I bought it from won the lottery and spared no expense. It was dead reliable. But it was frankly so capable you had to be going 140 to really push it haha. And the interior drove me crazy among other things.

I got into motorcycles again about 5 years ago and got reminded what real speed is with 200Hp on 430Lbs of bike. So I decided to quit chasing making a crazy fast car I can do it alot easier and cheaper on a bike.

I am trying to find another E30. I ride sport bikes when I wanna go fast. When I want driving pleasure E30 gets it done for me.
