Revenge doesn't belong to us. I'm not saying these people don't have something coming back around to them but by seeking out further confrontations and/or revenge, sometimes, only makes matters worse. Or at the least bit prolongs your stresses and frustrations. As soon as one let's it go, they are liberated from the whole sorry-ass situation. youre missing the point. there used to be this thing called "human decency". it was a long time ago way before you slipped on your first pair of pants that were 8 sizes too big but it did exsist. im not saying im 100% honest because i dont think anyone is but ive found tons of shit and returned it. 5 years ago at 3am i was leaving a party in an apartment complex with my wife. in the hallway was a suitcase and a camera bag sitting next to the door to someones apartment. i saw the camera case and looked inside and it was a brand new sony camcorder with a bunch of other shit. i thought about it for a second but not seriously. instead we knocked on the door and woke up a flight attendant that had come home so tired she forgot some of her bags in the hallway. im glad i didnt take it but if i had i would have felt too guilty to enjoy it. trailer trash parents are spawning trailer trash shitbag kids with even less morals.

nah, they made it near impossible for me to drink much before college. college is also the first time away from parents if it's not a commuter school, and the morals of a grown child are tested, as far as lying/stealing/cheating/vandalism. drinking's legality is blurred and even the cops accept this

besides, i was doing no one wrong as long as i didn't get behind the wheel of a car or into a fight, enjoying a personal activity that is legal in europe, canada, mexico, etc at my age. personally, the drinking age is an unnatural law our nation seems to have extended to a silly age, whereas stealing/murder are clearly morally wrong universally. Your comparison of a victiming crime like stealing to a victimless one like drinking is silly.

the girl on that site clearly was not raised with a strong moral backbone and knowing the right thing to do would be to return the phone if possible, and not take advantage for finding it for her own benefit

when more people grow up not knowing right from wrong, they are likely to raise more of the next generation who are unknowing as well. then we get into diasters like Enron in which people clearly are selfish and do others wrong for their personal gain.

there is no lack of morals for being a college kid and relaxing from a good week of learning and studying with socializing :drink: comparison to theft is a poor analogy

there is a general concensus that stealing/murder/rape is wrong. (unless you go to africa where rape is accepted as a weapon of war)

drinking is something accepted as part of society in places like france, etc. it is not almost universally believed to be wrong until you are 21, just here.

some people have different definitions, but shit like stealing and murder are wrong to most everyone, and because of that, it is indeed wrong.

the drinking age has something to do with the fact that in america car accidents are the leading cause of death among young people....but i guess that can be attributed to the moral decay of society and the parents passing this on to their children but that same can be said about our country as a whole.......
