checkout this portable toolbox by pelican. Pretty sweet I would say. I wonder if there is anything else out there that is comparable in terms of the portability, pullout drawers, and quality.

I had one for work of general mechanical tools. I am mixed feelings about it. The trays are too shallow and too flimsy. With a little bit of weight from wrenches they tend to sag and fall off the tracks. Notice you need to turn the box onto its back to get it onto its wheels for rolling. This throws everything towards the back of the box and jams the drawers - unless your religiously make foam cut outs for everything.
Also, because it's Pelican, baggage handlers think they can toss it at will off airplanes. If you don't need the ruggedness of being able to air travel with it, a standard steel tool box would be better. -
fuck that shit, $450 for a plastic portable toolbox is cray. there are generic "storage" boxes that are practically identical to what OP posted in walmart and other places for about $100. will do the same job for much less money.
couldn't find the exact one, but it's a nicer version of this:

Dewalt, Bosch and a few other companies make lines of similar products, this guy does a lot of reviews of them:

Our crew chiefs use them. The latches break off consistently and tools spill out. No weight savings is really not there. I will keep my old Craftsman 4 draw with inserts out of foam with foam covers.Comment

I just have a six-drawer craftsman box mounted on a HF moving dolly. Works pretty well.sigpic

There was a time when you could buy one of those military surplus boxes or whatever they were called full of tools for super cheap because, like many other things we sent to the sandbox(es) they sat there unused. I think most people have mixed feelings about the practicality of them, seems like something to impress your buddies with more than a usable set of tools.Comment

That Bosch stuff looks really nice...and reasonably priced. OP, what are you trying to accomplish? Something you can fly with? Something to throw on a trailer? something that will fit in your trunk? Maybe more details on your application will get people's creative juices flowing.Dewalt, Bosch and a few other companies make lines of similar products, this guy does a lot of reviews of them:

This. I'm one of those crew chiefs and those boxes aren't great. Latches break and the drawers are terrible
