I'm an insurance appraiser for one of the larger auto insurance companies. I spend my week basically being kicked around between the company, the shop and the customer - trying to make it all work and make everyone happy. Guess who gets the short end of that stick? :rippedoff:

Life is WAY too short to have a job you hate. Find something else. And remember, more money does not always equal better job. Gotta find that happy medium.

I'm with you guys. I'm a sales guy. I work my ass off, but love what I do. I can imagine doing something else, but I don't think I'd like it nearly as much. Now back to pegging.

I hate my job mainly because I am not receiving the full salary and benefits package due to being a contractor. If I was a full timer, it wouldn't be nearly as bad.

so we've had a few "what do you do for a living" threads... whelp this is a little different.

i personally can't stand my job. i make almost twice as much as i did when i turned wrenches for a living, but i feel like a prisoner in my own home (work from the computer)

basically i'm supposed to be cranking out legal paperwork for one of the infamous mortgage insurance companies that was in the limelight a few years ago. in reality i spend half the day here or on facebook trying to escape the boredom of paperwork.

so who else hates their derb?

my best derb was when i worked for a fairly large shop for a few years. talked about cars and banging broads all day

fantasy derb would be something to do with flying (non-commercial though, that would probably suck)
