What to do in Atlanta, GA

Let me know! It looks like I'll be spending the week of June 15th to the 19th there for welding school. Taking a AWS program down there.

Places to see, things to do? I'm not big on drinking anymore, especially when I am somewhere for training and need to be on point.

Atlanta is really spread out. Do you know about what part of Atlanta? Also do you have transportation during your stay?

if your going to an AWS school your not likely going to have much time to worry about doing fun stuff..... Have done enough AWS/ASNT certified courses (on the NDE side) to tell you your going to be fired when the class day ends.... A beer or 2 with dinner is about all your going to be able to muster...

I cant find the pic I had of my desk in my hotel room from a couple of years back, when I was going though UT school, needless to say you could not see any part of it under all the study materials ....

We will be flying in on Sunday most likely, and have a rental car. It will be me and another employee from our South yard.

I'll get more details this week probably and post back. I know the class is put on by Norfolk Southern that might be some help for location.
