Need nerd help: tiny ATX case?

I need a small, cheap, ATX case. I just scored a 2.6ghz on an asus ATX board that I am going to use for testing vista and dual booting to server 2003 just for tweaking. All I need is a case that fits a single 5.25, a single HDD and the board.

Any suggestions off the top of the head?

Depends on how tiny. There are many generic mini ATX cases. Or you can get some shuttle ones. Those are pimp.

Btw, you gotta make sure your mother board isnt too big for the case.

Hence ATX instead of microATX.

Antec makes a slimline with only one of each external. Its closer. I dont need a floppy.

Do what I did. Build your computer on a big piece of wood. Line it with anti-static crap. And mount it on a wall. Then find a way to attach a big 12" fan blowing atop it. Dosen't take up room on the floor.

I need to get a much smaller case. My board is really small, and the case I have is huge.

Static electricity isn't electromagnetic radiation. That's what EM protection is. There are few ways to do that without encasing the source of radiation in a metal cage (like a computer case).

Btw, I read that EM protection is arguable. At the levels that a simple home pc would put out anyway.

When it comes to MATX, I tend to learn toward IN WIN cases as they are very well built and fairly inexpensive...

Won't make a difference, I have ran testbeds without cases for years without any stability issues.

I had been running this in a pile of parts for my setup until I decided I was going to put it in a case.

Thanks for the input JC, I ended up going with an aluminum media center type case a coworker suggested. That way I can tote it to work when I need to work on it and tote it home when its not broken.

This is basically becoming my testbed.
