The first episode was OK. I would say a solid 6.
I like the story setting cause I know all areas it was shot. (I grew up in LA)
One thing I never understood in TWD was how Rick looked surprised to see a prison...
He is a Sheriff Deputy, you would think he would know where all the prisons were in the area and try to re purpose them as anti zombie communities. Granted I have never been to Georgia, is it really that Rural out there? Growing up in Los Angeles, I was surrounded by a concrete jungle. I figured that is how it is like in Atlanta, but they seem to be able to go in and out of the city with little trouble.
FTWD has just started and I am excited to how far they can take it.
It is not bound by any comic strip and is taking place in a Major city.
The biggest upside for me is the story taking place in a place I can relate to.
