    Shot an Indian today...

Customer and good friend commissioned a family heirloom to be taken apart and reproduced in brand new leather, while reusing the original hardware. Once completed I traveled to hand deliver and do a photo shoot of his 1939 Indian that he rebuilt.

    Enjoy!

6oz canvas lining with double pockets that I made to line the leather interior.

Hand painted leaf and a copper name tag.

Thanks!!! That bag took almost two weeks on my bench with nearly 15hrs in construction. It has over 1,500 hand stitches and triple folded canvas edges and a copper name tag. The details drip off it! Plus the leather is brand new distressed pig hide so it would blend with his worn bike.

              Gorgeous work.

Is that something you could possibly make from scratch, now that you have a template?

I have the pattern bit the metal closure bracket is the key...that is well over 100 years old. I could reproduce t bit the cost of just doing this bag was beyond what most would ever want to spend.

Bikes are truly an amazing machine to take in, there is so much different from a car that is it something all new to enjoy/look over.
