I bought it. runs and drives, Interior in very good condition. Body is ok. will need a respray. Rust is manageable. Little spots hear and there. Rockers good, strut towers good. The worst being the pedal box rusted out and the bottom part of the drivers side frame rusted away about a foot in length. Ended up playing him $3500. will post more pics in my build thread soon.

I am on faq2002, had many 2002's and a few 2002tii have a few remaining parts left from part outs, what information do you need, as I maybe able to help or guide you what to look for. You can email me at bmwextremeparts@yahoo.com and $3500 was a steal that was an amazing buy!

So sounds like you might have to re weld in a new floor panel or two ;) Good buy seeing the potential that you have. There's no rust in the trunk/gas tank area? Start figuring out all the parts you might need soon, now. Those things are only going MIA quick or $$$.

Im already expecting to have to do a good amount of work on the drivers side. Surprisingly the passenger side has almost no rust. Very little rust in the trunk area. There was a quarter size hole near the gas tank and under the spare tire. Quarter size hole in the rear valance. Im a decent fabricator and right now it all seems manageable to me.

                            Nice !

Sounds like a good deal from your description, does it still have the original nose on it?
