Avalanche in Bellingham, WA

I know there are some here that live in Bellingham, WA. I good friend of mine from High School who lived there was killed in a Avalanche near the Mt. Baker Ski lodge. We went to High School in Voorheesville, NY, afterwards he moved to Bellingham with his parents to be closer to the rest of his family. I'm in disbelief, I had been communicating with him last week, he posted a few pics of a VW Passat wagon he had bought strictly to carry his Ski equipment and it's kind of hard to think he is gone, my heart just sank for his wife and two kids.

Do any of you that live there know him by chance?

Sorry for your loss man.

It's very sobering. I was doing some backcountry boarding on Mt. Hood that morning. We had postponed a Saturday trip due to avalanche warnings.
