Well it was fun when it lasted.............:(

So I have had my e30 for the past year and half and I have been cherishing this car ever since and I have never had an intention of letting it go. People really need to realize how wrong they are and they need to learn to be decent human beings.......

this Is a picture of her former glory.

Today I witnessed this guy at my high school pulling out the parking lot very fast and lost control and hit a 335

After a second it hit me that oh wait that's my friends car and as I turned around to see what was happening he threw it in reverse with his piece of crap 91 quadruple salvage Honda Accord and pulled away and then started to run

When I made a u turn and started following him he notice and started to speed and taking corners thinking he could get away from me driving the e30.

    Boy Hondas don't handle lol

So me on his tail he got nervous and pulls into a random driveway thinking I will leave him alone.

I took my phone out and took a picture of the car and his plates and when he saw the phone he once again threw it in reverse and just put it to the floor ramming into my precious e30. He hit me had enough to move the car about 5 feet while I was on the brakes.

    Results

So the damage the fender is toast
The front suspension in demolished including the subframe
    My wheel is slightly bent
Tire is chewed up because of fender

What should I do? I have the guys plate the police report has been filed and everything has been handed to my lawyer.

The car is not really drivable and I am left with no car. -_-

Ask the lawyer if you can pin rental car fees on the guy while the case gets taken care of.

Yes we are working on that it is kind of hard to get things going because of the weekend and the fact that's it's a hit and run

Look on the bright side: now you have the opportunity to get direct-fit wheels :P

I don't think insurance would cover that because they are aftermarket and I have no receipts but if I do I want to get a set something that will actually fit

I bet insurance will cover it, depending on your policy of course. If you have his tag they can catch him and go after him

This is why you don't "chase" people down in your car.

                      It's all risk, no reward.
Unless another person's life is at stake don't take it, it's not worth it.

True, your insurance company is responsible for bringing you back to pre loss conditions, if you want to upgrade you pay the difference.

But if they were to buy a basket weave wheel new (if the dealer still sells them) wouldn't it cost more than a replica esm wheel?
