    Every car can have a shitty driver. Every car has a different past. Yes, the car has a bad stigma linked to it. That doesn't mean that every one of these is like that. Even the mighty E30 has it's share of idiots.

    Advice for you is to get off of your high horse and try not being a prick. Say, "it's not my cup of tea" or "it's just not for gay folks like me"(recommended). Sound good? Awesome.

        Wow, typical, SRT-4 buyer can't take a joke. You realize what I am doing is perpetuating a stereotype, just like any any good car guy. Also, did you not notice the underappreciated bit which denoted the sarcasm?

        Anyway, if you want to be like that, have fun finding the nearest telephone pole or overpass support and be sure to tell us that you only crashed when it broke traction when you shifted to 5th running from the 5-0 after you smoked that 911 turbo.

          I caught the sarcasm and veiled compliment from roguetoaster, but often it's hard to catch tone in typed printed words, and easy to misinterpret them.

            Ouch! Someone is butthurt ;) I've seen your posts. If you want people not to think you're attacking them, I suggest being less of dick about things with your "sarcasm". Words written in invisible ink cannot be read, my friend.

            EDIT: My apologies as I haven't been here long enough, apparently. I will say that you can come off as a bit of a dick at first. But, I see the sarcasm. You are damn good with underlying sarcasm, from what I've seen. I will carry on now and enjoy my doge.
            P.S.-I know the srt4 isn't the fastest lol. I just like driving it.

                Don't worry OP, I have a Focus that's cheap and affords me more $$ for the e30.

                Sure it has it's stigma too, 0 fuuks given to the haters

                  $6500 is money that can be spent on a car that's more fun and is somewhat staying true to its value.

                  I've driven these all through high school, terrible terrible cars. Shitty interiors and just about everything else. The abuse these engines and trans can take is about the only thing impressive about them.

                  I don't mean to bash at all as I totally understand everyone has their taste... I just wish this was one of those "what do you guys suggest" threads so we could've at least made an effort to deter you from it.

                  My 2012 Hyundai Sonata 2.0T will totally take you.

                    Lol I needed something for a DD, but I didn't want something that I'd hate to drive. I figured that this had low enough miles that it SHOULD be okay and not as abused as others. My E30 still needs work before I'll pour more money into it, so more money for the E30 isn't in the picture right now.

                        I was just busting your balls. I loved launching these in high school. bringing spare tires to parking lots and parties. The good ole' days.

                        They're very fun for a 4cyl 4dr. Extremely cheap to mod as well. Stay away from cheap tunes and look into upgrading your turbo and cooler for a reliable daily hoon-machine.

                        Also, factory SRT wheels are heavy so look into something lightweight. They make a hell of a difference.

                          is this one of the later models that came with a quaife?

                              Don't let them get to you! While I can say that I was never impressed with the interior, these cars are awesome.

                              I catch shit for it, but the SRT-4 changed the game of low cost performance cars for the better. Nothing has matched is performance to dollar ratio before or since.

                                Glad we're on the same page. That you can see what was being said proves that you are not the stereotypical SRT-4 bro. Carry on, but don't get too attached to the little thing.

                                Now, a 41k mile Neon ACR in top shape would have probably been something that people here could support wholeheartedly.
