i shaved my head for a while, bought once a week i'd shave my head & face all at once (i'm just lazy like that) - mach3 FTW - i never really liked using gel/cream, just chase with aftershave and i usually don't have issues

get a good aftershave, it makes all the difference

damn... i couldn't rock it without the shaving cream. That's pretty hard core.

Ive tried it and it hurts like a bitch. I guess some guys just have tougher skin than others.

... and a mach 3 with the "mach 3 turbo" blades. I used to use shave gel or shave cream with a brush, but this new edge advanced nonsense is quick, doesn't lather up all crazy, and really works well.

If you're having issues with your blade dulling, some years back I tried this product called razor guard, which was basically a solution you leave your razor in when you aren't using it. Blades would last forever.

I think it depends on how much growth you have.
If I have to look clean and shave twice in the same day then I can just use water.

If I haven't shaved for a day or two...gel or die.

Im to much of a lazy ass to shave everyday. My job doesnt require me to be clean shaven so I usually do it every 2-3 days.

m3T for me, in the shower, WITH shaving cream...blades last about 20 shaves without getting dull for me...
