The mazda curse is finally over, its GOING to be totaled for sure this time.
I was crossing an intersecion making a left. There were 2 cars in the nearest lane to my left making a right turn, which would have been right next to me. Both of them had their blinkers on and were slowing down. This is a pretty busy intersection and it was clear to my right so I start to take it. Apparently the lady making the right (second car) thought it would be a good idea to not turn right anymore and floor it into the other lane where I was crossing.
Got t-boned at about 45mph in the driver door. My head hit the B-pillar pretty damn hard and shattered the window. The whole drive side of the car is crushed in, doors wont open or close, front driver wheel ripped off, and I have a hole in the door now.
Anyways I just got back from the ER for head trauma and have "post trumatic brain injury" from banging my head so hard. My coordination is still a bit off and I get some neat happy pills, but the doctors were stunned that I didnt have any major injuries. So much for the mazda being a "death trap on wheels" :)
I would post pics but they wont let me go see my car.
Moral of the story, Im glad I wasnt driving the m3 or I would have killed someone.
