    post trumatic brain injury FTL

The mazda curse is finally over, its GOING to be totaled for sure this time.

I was crossing an intersecion making a left. There were 2 cars in the nearest lane to my left making a right turn, which would have been right next to me. Both of them had their blinkers on and were slowing down. This is a pretty busy intersection and it was clear to my right so I start to take it. Apparently the lady making the right (second car) thought it would be a good idea to not turn right anymore and floor it into the other lane where I was crossing.

Got t-boned at about 45mph in the driver door. My head hit the B-pillar pretty damn hard and shattered the window. The whole drive side of the car is crushed in, doors wont open or close, front driver wheel ripped off, and I have a hole in the door now.

Anyways I just got back from the ER for head trauma and have "post trumatic brain injury" from banging my head so hard. My coordination is still a bit off and I get some neat happy pills, but the doctors were stunned that I didnt have any major injuries. So much for the mazda being a "death trap on wheels" :)

I would post pics but they wont let me go see my car.

Moral of the story, Im glad I wasnt driving the m3 or I would have killed someone.

MN is a "no fault" state, its just who gets the ticket. So legally it was my fault because she had the right of way, and I got slapped with a failue to yeild to the right of way ticket. I say it was both of our faults, we should have looked where we were going.

I like the drink still in the cupholder. I was just thinking recently how much it would suck to get T-boned in the driver's side door. Glad you're okay, and glad it was the Mazda and not the ///M. Didn't look as bad as I expected but nevertheless

haha yeah I was surprised it was still in. about a week ago I was beating the crap out of the mazda and I dropped the clucth in first, the car shook so violently the cup holder ripped out of the door. Lucky I had a capped bottle in it.

i always say, no matter who's fault it is, its your own fault for even being part of it. EVERY accident is avoidable!

whether its kids throwing rocks, opening your bottom half on a road hazard, maybe even the deer hitting you, its your fault.
i'm sorry but you have a lot to learn about safe driving
I'm sorry but your are freakin jerk. Not every accident is avoidable, I'm gonna laugh my butt off when you find that out first hand! Anyway get better man and I'm glad it wasn't in the M3.
