I've gotten into the mid 140's in my car (On a termlab mic in the trunk of an e30, sound guys will know thats loud)

I won't say my hearing is as good as other people, and I'll probably start losing my hearing at 40-50, but so far I can all my hearing tests, and I'm not deaf.

most people wont hear 20 hz, they will hear the harmonic distortions of 20hz. And some people can hear up to 20khz, but most wont hear past ~17khz.
