    Michael Schumacher Announces Retirement!

In case anyone didn't catch the F1 race from Monza, Schumacher took the win and announced his retirement. I really wasn't expecting it at all, but I guess the goal is to always go off on a high note. Here's an article with some info: http://www.forbes.com/technology/ebu...ap3005360.html

What are your thoughts? Do you think Ferrari can find another driver to fill his spot?

I'm sure someone will fill it but honestly, who can follow a name like Schumacher?

man this year has been a year of great sport moments and some sad retirements.

Being a hardcore BMW Williams (now BMW Sauber) fan I was still pulling for Schui everytime unless of course we (BMW) had a chance back when Ralph and Montoya were on board.

Zidane went out in style I guess you can say, but I hope Shui can actually go out in wining style. 8th title would be sweet and then just without any controversy go out.

wasnt there a rumer that eiter Kimi or Alonso was going to join Ferrari if Shui retired?

Schumacher said he wanted to make the decision now so teammate Felipe Massa could work out his future with the team. Ferrari also said Massa will continue next season and be joined by Kimi Raikkonen, who moves over from McLaren-Mercedes.

ha ha. cant wait for next year already. and hey lets give Robert Kubica some credit. that dude is putting Jack to shame.

Kimi will be the next champ. with Ferrari he will deff be the man to beat.
