URGENT!!!! Please read!!!

My goddaughter who I have known since she was a baby is having her sweet 15 (for latinos its 15) on Saturday. I know its short notice but the guy I originally had to take pictures cant make it. I have never failed my god daughters and now Im in a bind. I dont have anyone and the people I call want to charge me 650 and 779 dollars. Its not a big production at a church or anything. Its literally going to be a big party in the back yard, nothing with sets or scenes for pros or anything. I need anyone with ANY skills to shoot the party for the memories. As stated before it does not need to be near professional quality, just someone that is into fotography and has a good camera and an eye for shots. There will be free beer (kegs) and homemade mexican food (lots of it). I can also compensate you a bit if neccessary. Help me out on this one guys. Let me know ok guys? I will really appreciate any help. This will mean a ton to me. These girls are like my daughters and Im like their "cool" uncle ya know? I dont want to fail them on this pretty big task. Ok I forgot to post up the location and time. It will be from 2:30PM to shit I dunno until everyone leaves and theres no more beer. There will be poeple there of all ages. Its in Pasadena California. Thanks guys.

Mariano i would love to do it, but the whole Germany to US thing is out of the question. dont you have a digi? if your not looking for pro results, a $200-$300 camera should be more than enough in anyones hands to take great shots. i would of course recomend a Nikon but you know, thats just me. anywho good luck and i really think you should do it. Just throw in on Auto, point and shoot.

As a side deal, maybe get a few disposable cameras and pass them out to whoever you think might pull a few decent shots - sometimes the best stuff is the candids from a random vantage point. Been to a few weddings where they did this and sometimes they turn into the best pics of the event. Can't help you on the other - best of luck.
