i swear every e30 has been used as a stash box at some point. There is always the little removable plastic cover on the near side of the check pannel by the sunroof switch.

You could always pop out the check panel, put it behind there. Not that I smoke or carry that stuff, but I had to once, but thats where I put it.

^^^we have a winner! I got checked at the canadian border not to long ago coming back from dinner with my gf and they didnt even think to look up there. I was freaking out as I was pretty sure I hadnt left anything in the car but sure enough, after I pass inspection I pop out my check panel and theres a baggie from who knows when.
