I'll have an extra 5 gallon jerry can with some fuel in it, just in case you run out on the trails. Haha

Installed one new cv axle, the drivers side was seized in and wouldn't come out.

Also installed rear diff breather for shits and giggles.

I should be able to leave Flag around 9 am on Thursday, so I'll be in Ouray around 4 or 5 in the evening.

I'll send you a PM with my new cell number.

        That is quite a ways.

I am happy with my decision to upgrade my radio to something with bluetooth and Apple CarPlay technology. My drive isn't nearly as far as yours, but it helps pass the time having a variety of music/podcasts to listen to.

Yeah Even though I only installed front speakers and a sub with my radio its 100x better.

I just need to tone down the highs since 5.25's are still pretty tinny.

Yepp, and I like to download stand up specials from Netflix. Although, driving I-70 through the mountains should be plenty of entertainment for me lol...

Jim Jeffries does a weekly podcast that is uploaded after his comedy central weekly show airs. He's usually drinking during the podcast and they will tell you the jokes that couldn't get air on the show due to censorship. Its really fuckin funny.

Here are two shots I took over the trip.

Lambo and W take way better photos than I did, so wait for their photos to be posted for the good stuff.

We took the tough route out of Ouray, CO to the top of Engineer Pass. Talking hours and hours of 4LO and 1st gear to go just a handful of miles. Crazy steep climbs with periodic sheer drops off the side of the trail.

After the first one, I am addicted to conquering summits and gathering photo evidence of the feats. Massive increase in respect for my beat truck. Handled it all without issue. Took the 9 hour drive home comfortably and quickly.

"Full size" truck handled the trails well. The V8 was a massive bonus, as its low end torque allowed me to barely feather the throttle and overcome whatever obstacle was in front of the truck.

Definitely need to upgrade my overlanding inventory. Already investigating CVT roof top tents. A must have. Stepping up my compressor game as well. Going on-board air before my next trip.
