      do people have memberships to carfax? I see this posted all the time. I don't think twice about the twentybucks when buying a car. I guess if someone has unlimited access it makes sense though.

          Carfax says the vin is invalid. It says it is one letter off from being a 1989 porsche. Is that what your dad is looking for?
