Thanks to Ludwig on here I was able to attend a great gathering of vintage cars at the BMW group classics building in Munich the other week. Having been in Leipzig the week before for a science conference, I already had plans to visit Munich afterwards. But once I found out about this show I knew I needed to get there soon. Woke up early Saturday in Leipzig, took the tram to the train station and grabbed the earliest ride I could to Munich. Three ish hours later I was there but still needed to take a couple innercity trains to the location and a walk through Olympic park getting lost slightly. Upon arrival, I was not disappointed. I think I read somewhere it was the location of an original factory and the entrance was a large archway that opened up to vintage BMW goodness (with some outsiders included).
