    How an e46 is made

This is pretty sweet. Scrole down a little. A 22 min vid on how an e46 goes from a role of metal to a sexy car. Enjoy:p

        Comfort

        That video is sweet.

I like how the cars are "turned so that the workers can work in a more ergonomic position" and then show the guy pushing the emblum into the trunk without having to bend down.

If only I could flip my car upside down so that I could work on it "ergonomically."

I've thought about this before. The problem is, it costs too much money. :p

You can flip your car upside down. There is a sort of lift that does it, looked at one for my dads garage for when we restore cars.

The money isn't too bad - the problems are 1) room and 2) fuel leakage.

LOL, that's what I thought too! I could almost smell the brautwerst(?) for the after-work party. :p

That was a cool video--it looks so simple to put together.

I always wondered how they get those darn power window motors inside those doors. Now I know..

                        Great video!

ummmm. you serious? how do you think we R&R the motors and regs when they break? e46 window motors and regs are one of the most common jobs dealer techs see on a consistant basis. i dont think a day went by when i didnt do at least one.
