I just found out MV does something similar with the F4 motors. They heat the engines and fit things like valve guides so that everything expands the same when the engine is hot. Its not built in the oven per se but they heat it up, put stuff in, heat it up again, put more stuff in, etc to keep the engine closer to operating temps.
