a spool delivers equal torque to both wheels 100% of the time with no internal slip, which is what makes them terrible to drive on the street. An LSD delivers equal torque to both wheels but allows internal slip so one wheel can still spin faster than the other for going around corners.

That motor isn't a whole lot heavier than the M30, which people do all the time. Seams to me that it's just a way to lessen suspension travel even more.
