Didnt the 72s still h have that screen door looking side gill cover and the big ass rubber bump pads on the front bumper and a loss of the decent looking hood for the car to latter 74 style or am I thinking 73

72s had that gills you're thinking about. But they still had the better looking front end like the earlier ones. In 73 they changed the hood. And I think 75 is when they added the bumper guards on the front.
