Dejarnette buildings. Google Joseph Dejarnette and you'll see why everyone wants these buildings gone.







Place sits right next to a Sheetz, Lowes, Wal-Mart, several restaurants, etc. Can bee seen from I-81.

Then there is the old adult sanatorium turned prison, then turned into condos. Been inside this one after the prison closed. No pics though. Has a huge cemetery with unmarked graves from the sanatorium days.

I used to live about 20 min from there. The old children's asylum by the sheetz is quite creepy. Also walked around that graveyard at the other site when they were in the process of converting to condos. I'll have to check out Staunton again next time I visit my folks.

Def. I live over in Stuarts Draft. Waynesboro is really starting to come back, Staunton.....is still trying to ride the wave from a few years ago.
