He swapped metal tailgates to the late model one to run those. I actually love it. It needs a plate filler badly, though.
I think it's a waste of time, money, and work (and the work does look good). If it was alpine, then a plate filler would definitley improve it.. But I still don't see the point - especially on an M3.
