Most of Africa and portions of Europe and Asia can be seen in this photograph taken from the Apollo 11 spacecraft during its translunar coast toward the moon. Apollo 11 was already 98,000 nautical miles from Earth when this picture was made on July 17th, 1969. (NASA) #
Arriving and entering into Lunar orbit. Seen below are craters Sabine and Ritter, and mountains stretching back to the horizon on July 19th, 1969. (NASA) #
Looking down at the Command and Service Module (center), with the Moon's surface below, as seen from the now-separated Lunar Module (LM), on its way to the surface. The proiminent crater is Schmidt crater. This is the last photo taken from the LM prior to the powered descent, and eventually the landing one orbit later. (NASA) #

fluke means a lucky event.
you would be insinuating that it was legit by using that word.
and the delay was more than 2-3 seconds.
there is plenty of other anecdotal evidence "proving" apollo 11 did not happen, maybe you should look at the more credible stuff first.Comment

apollo 11 was such a fluke its pathetic..u believe otherwise your just 100% ignorant. you cant possibly think the "live video" they were shooting while they stepped on the moon is legit can you? modern day we cant even have zero delay on live tv from the other side of the earth...but from the moon in 1969? LMFAO.and the delay from the "live feed" was like 2-3 seconds, whitch would be considered pretty quick.and did we even have live tv in 1969? the situation was just bogus.period
and thats not counting the handful of other facts that prove its not real.
SIR, It is time to step out of your bubble, and into the real world. kthxbyeComment

e30monsta, you really don't realize what a idiot you make yourself out to be when you say something like that. All the moon landing hoax guy all sound the same. I think they think they sound cool, and have the "inside scoop" or something. What we really think is "This guys is a fucking nut case - I'm not letting him alone with my kid"
BTW - I don't know much about the delay issue, but radio waves travel at the speed of light (186,000 miles per second) and the moon is 240,000 miles away. So that's only 1.29 second you fucking idiot. Do some math next time.Originally posted by Matt-Bhey does anyone know anyone who gets upset and makes electronics?Comment

Wow, I didn't think anyone still bought in to that whole 'the moon landing was fake' junk. Apparently, there is still one out there.
Fucking idiots. I suppose the space station isn't real either then?Comment

You nut jobs that think the moon landing was a hoax are, well...NUT JOBS. I believe the last major news publication to take the same side as you morons was Fox News.
Check out the Lunar Laser Ranger at McDonald. There is useful instrumentation on the moon left by the Apollo missions we still use today. I'm sure these experiments are "fake" too, right?
Even better, why don't you pick up the phone and give Dr. Mike Collins a phone call over at McDonald Observatory. Why don't you tell him that the experiments he's been doing for the last 40 years are, in fact bullshit. He's a long time family friend. Tell him s0urce sent you.tasty
