I didn't know it took a special chicken to lay a green egg. We have a bunch of crappy regular old chickens, bought from a trader's fair that lay green eggs. Mostly brown, but every night there's a green or two.

Any type of conducter will not loose ANY digital signal over the length of 5feet.

When you have cat cables around 300feet in lenghth then you start getting loss of information.

You just don't get it, it's OK. Show me functional GigE on 3' of 2 pairs of 4 conductor 12AWG romex, and I'll admit you're right.

Dude, my folks have chickens (farm eggs FTW by the way!!). And yeah, the leghorns are the crackpots of the bunch. One died from stressing its self out lol.
