Technically illegal to run the side draft exhaust in California as the vehicle did not come with the exhausts mounted in that location from the factory. Typically one will not get hassled unless its really obnoxious or the cop is really picky.

It's factory IIRC, and also notable is that this is a $120,000 MB with solid front and rear axles. This vehicle has a huge history behind it, and can walk the walk as well as talk the talk('sporty looking').
