when I was 20 or so I rode my r6 to mid ohio (had already bought tickets, my friend rode ama factory yamaha at the time. my 2.7i wasn't starting, wiring problem). I had already paid for my ticket, so I said fuck it. packed a backpack and threw my v1 on my bike

needed gas, got off the 90 but the gas station turned out to be like 5 miles off the interstate.

ride it out, get gas. hear a huge effing rumble, and see a 57 vette dart off in the distance.

I hurried a bit getting back up there in time to catch up with them. all black vette. tubbed. huge wheels on the back. sounded mean as hell. dude looked the part, young guy greasered out. and a cutie in the pass seat looking like this chick

he got on it and goddamn. I had to wind my r6 out a bit to keep up with him, and my r6 probably ran high 10's.

some day I hope to own a vette like that
