The first picture reminds me of "The Wedge" at Newport Beach. 6 foot barrels will literally crash right into the sand, wedging you in. NOT for the faint of heart by any means. Where were these pictures taken anyways? I am interested. I think I am going to Mexico for a week long surf session.

No, sunscreen and body oils can kill years of coral growth. Plus its sharp as shit.Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

its not like hundreds of people are gonna go rubbing themselves off on the same reef or walking on it with their hands. body oils idk where you read that. sunscreen yeah sure anything synthetic, but that little point of contact will not do anything. americans are overly worried about simple things and believe all the bs that is published by "researchers at so so and so institute/university". They are usually nobodies that know nothing about anything conducting some radical experiment to prove an effect.
True, you want to minimize your impact on marine life when you dive. That is not meaningful impact. Not all coral is sharp. I've cut myself on countless things, some sting a bit here and there, but whatever. Nature is not baby proof... and your sig is driving me nuts with that little bug!! jaja
i have 8 diving certifications. i'm telling you. not meaningful impact. people who can't level right and flap on coral reef causes more harm and most of it is just harmless sand blowing on stuff. anchors, fishing junk caught up, garbage (just toxic stuff, most other things are even beneficial) etc that is the concern. Dive on man, enjoy it.
