Yeah, someone trolled the Courier Mail into running a story on the "M1 300 Club", which was supposed to be a secret group of "gentlemen racers" who would do 300kmh runs on the M1 Highway late at night. So now the M1 300 stickers are done as a tongue-in-cheek way to acknowledge how seriously they took it - hook, line and sinker.
