    Narrows Bridge Shots

The Tacoma Narrows Bridge connects Tacoma to Gig Harbor. They've been working on this new bridge now. Everyone in Gig Harbor hates it, as this city is losing its "small town" feel with all this expansion. It seems like everyone else in this state wants the bridge so they're building it. Who has to pay for it? Just the residents of Gig Harbor who have to use it. Lame. Anyway, I took some shots of the construction the other day on my day off from work. Thought these may be interesting to look at. Resized...

      Wow sweet shot!

I'll have to look at it later today when I'm not on this shitty ass Pentium III laptop. When I loaded it it bogged down so much I had to kill firefox.

I am a nerd for suspended structures. I drove over the bridge weekly this last summer because my friend has a cabin at Mason Lake. I loved looking at the way they were building it. It's an amazing bridge. Thanks for the update.

And on a side note, the largest discovered octapus in the world lives under that bridge.

Yeah we are pretty lucky to live so close to such a cool and famous bridge. Bendashdash and I both live within a mile and cross it everyday. It's way fun riding a jet ski under it in the summer too. Nice pics Ben.
