    Went underground today

Ok, I work in computers, I had to go and program a server to read tags installed in mining trucks.

First time for me inside a mine, even though i didn't take any pictures, i googled some for you.

Huge trucks, huge tunnels, huge everything... ;)

i toured a cool mine in northern minnesota. they shoot nutrino's(sp?) from duluth minnesota to chicago underground and have this huge receiver thats 48'tall. everything in the mine was taken down a 5'x5' shaft and assembled underground. this place is as big as a football stadium and its a mile underground. i was in awe

It's actually around 10 miles deep, I mean that the "hole" is 10 miles long, but in fact you drive uphill, the mine goes up into the mountain, and there is gold, molybdenum, and coper, but about 2 pounds per ton of rock moved (copper) much less of the other metals, so unless i had one of those big cats, it would be pointless to look for it.:p
