Yeah.. So I'm camping out at Sam's Club

So I was curious if the locals around here were actually camping out for this thing, each of three wal-marts in my town had 25+ camping out, and bestbuy had 50. I went into the wal-mart closest to me and here's the shitty thing they did, they let these thirty some odd people camp out for 3 days, and only delivered a few. So most of these people came up empty handed. The decent thing they did is this particular walmart isn't a 24hr supercenter, but closes at midnight, so the few people who had dibs got rainchecks at 11pm and were told to come back in the morning to pick em up. The electronics guy said he was told by management not to disclose quantity. sheesh.

The Sam's club I'm at already confirmed they recieved 2 that are currently present in their possession. The manager confirmed to us before he closed the store that they definately had them and if we are still here in the morning they belong to us.

So I'm 99.9% sure I'm going to be coming home with one in my hands.

Yep.. Took 2.5 paid vacations days off. I love working for the state.

At 5AM the store manager gave us the 2 vouchers. At 7AM we redeemed the fuck out of them for $718.62 after tax. Price was $654 and some change for the bundle packs that Sam's was selling. As soon as I paid a guy offered $2000 cash for it but I declined. I told him I would take $3000 cash and he said he would call before lunch CST to let me know.

Tara seems to think I should ebay it considering the $5,000 price tags. I would rather take $3000 cash for it and not deal with eBay fees, Paypal fees, and the risk of getting defrauded.

Still I would have taken $2000 cash on the spot. Don't be greedy make someone happy. They could probally resell it on ebay and make money still :)

I'd think if you wait a week, 90% of the ones on ebay would be sold, thus you'll get more money because supply isn't as high.
