    Got Imagination?

    Hey guys, I need some help.

    I have been trying for quite some time to come up with a good idea for a URL.

    I need a web presence to help promote my shop. No E-commerce, just a portfolio, basically.

    What I really need is a good URL.

    If you are bored, try and think up a good URL for my shop.

    The name is "Loud & Clear Car Audio"

    Oh yeah...go over to godaddy.com or wherever and check to see if it available. EVERYTHING I can think of is taken.

                  DO NOT check to see if domains are taken at godaddy. They sell those results to domain-sqautters. If you find one that is not taken through them chances are pretty high that in a day or 2 there will be a domain sqatter on it. They will then want to sell you the domain for a huge amount of money. Tons of domain registration sites do this.

                          Some great idears here guys, keep it coming. I was thinking about l-n-c.com, but I havent checked it. I have to keep the word "car" in the name. it is the only thing that keeps my name seperate here in Orygun.

                          I do like www.loud-n-clear-car-audio.com, but that is a damn long URL.

                          I just wish I would have thought of the ampersand not being useable in a URL.

                          Should I be checking sites like ICANN or "Whois" instead? They don't have Candace Michelle!

                              register.com is a good place to check, but yes arin whois search is the most reliable. loudclearaudio.com seems available
