    Who needs to spend all this money on supercars?

    You can take an E30, put an LS1 in it and destroy pretty much anything out there.

    Heads/Cam/Tune LS1/LS6's easily put over 450rwhp to the ground, let alone a turbo LS1, or even a stroker. Stroker LS1's can get down about 550rwhp, and still be street legal.

    Thats about $10k for a race stroker and T56 trans with tune, $3000 for fabrication of mounts/install, $2500 for basic E30, $2500 most in full race coilovers and upgraded steering, $2500 for wheels/tires...its not even that much money when you think a mustang GT is almost 30 grand these days.

    Someone could start a company selling E30 supercars that could out handle anything and blow it away on the straights, combining german handling and class with refined american v8 prowess.

                People could start selling those e30 "supercars", but a C5 corvette would still outhandle it. And is wired correctly from the factory.

                LT1s belong in 240sx's
                LS1s belong in RX-7s
                turbo sixers belong in E30s... someone ought to put a RB in one though
