Well, I've survived being sliced open like a fish

Yesterday at about 3:00 pm I had surgery peformed on my right inguinal hernia. I was pretty nervous about it, but everything went fine. They had to make about a 3" incision, and I'm pretty damn sore today. But I've got lots of vicodin, and the next 4-5 days off, so it's all good. I had metnioned something about it before, and ust wanted to let everyone know I'm alright.

Glad you are alright. So for the next 4-5 days we really shouldn't listen to you because , since you really dont' want to move, you will be on R3V all day and high on vicodin. I see some funny post when people aren't high/drunk but you my friend can do it legally. No really, glad to hear everything went good.

Yeah, no shit. Although Andrew is going to the body shop today to pick up my bumpers and front valence with their nice, shiny new paint...

I'll do my best to hobble out to the garage and get pics when he drops them off.

Wasn't too bad huh? Do you have to walk hunched over? When I had that surgery, the only thing that would hurt me would be trying to stand striaght up. Don't lift anything heavy for a while either... you'll feel that.

No squats or cleans for a while unfortunately.

Yeah, I have to walk really slowly, too. I can just about stand straight up, but tying to take a piss hurts like hell, I basically just have to stand there until it comes on its own, since I can't push. But today I can stand and sit by myself, last night I couldn't do either without my wife holding me up. I hate being that helpless.

Yeah, and it won't be too bad going back to work. I'm the foreman of 2 departments, so I won't really have to do much.

had the same surgery on the 21st.
x2 on hurting like hell to take a piss and standing up. youll be almost back to normal in a week, there will still be some swelling and it will be alittle sore.
