what?? $175-$230 enamel pots?

So my mom gave this 'old' pot she had a "le creuset", I didnt really think much of it. So I was boiling water in it and cooking spaghetti when i forgot to set the timer, and walked away...anyways it ended up burning the pot and burning the enamel, making a once really nice pot, practically useless.

Then I go online to find a new one thinking, well shit how much could a pot cost? $30-$40? WRONG... $175 for the same exact "old looking" pot, freakin artisans in France hand make these!

yep, hand made enamel coated cast iron from france is expensive! i don't care for those pots becase the coating chips too easily.

i have another one but have never had chipping problems...now i know never to put them on with heat over "medium"
