    Good roads in San Diego?

Anybody know any good roads to drive in San Diego? I don't need anything retarded fast...I'm just getting tired of straight lines, traffic, and stoplights. I want something with multiple consecutive turns. Directions are cool too :-)

Rancho? You fucking pussies. That shit is weak. Shift, you shoulda talked to me at the last Meet...I Coulda talked your ear off about roads.

I have a 4-6 hour tour of canyon roads that I can take in east county -- and nothing but nice, ballsy roads. Starts in Jamul, ends up about 3 miles from Temecula....I will try to remember the order I take them in...

        Lyons Valley Road
        Honey Springs Rod
        94E
        Buckman Springs North
        Sunrise Highway (north towards Julian)
Engineers Rd (ends up in Santa Yesebel)
Mesa Granda (my absolute favorite...the back side is a ball...)
        Palomar Mountain (east side up)
Palmoar Mountain (west side down) (sometimes I nix palomar depending on presence of CHP).
        78W
        Cousour Canyon (west)
        Lilac Road (west)
        Circle R (west)

This puts you out on the 15 Freeway by the Old 395 Exit.

Rancho is weak. Honest. Once you have been to real canyons...........

Drive 3 hours to twisties? Lyons valley (and a fucking awesome road) is in Jamul. That is 20-30 minutes from most of San Diego.

My favorite setup, Engineers to Mesa Grande starts in Julian. That isn't that far either. WTF you talking about 3 hours.

Maybe I need to take you out to these roads....

Ditto on the Julian trip, through Santa Isabel. Idyllwild is another sweet trip once you get past the wasteland of Hemet. Enjoy

Cossier Canyon off the 78 is a good one too. Hooks up to W. Lilac road.

Highland Valley road is decent, and Wisteria Road (sp?) that bypasses Julian is a fun one.
