Final On Monday!!!!

What's the salary for an RN out there? There is such a shortage for them in Oregon that local generally start you around $65k per year right out of school... not to mention the signing bonus.

Night shift(+$4 night diff.)@ my local hospital will be about $52K first year. Not record setting but not too bad considering a two year investment. Overtime/extra shifts of course could pick up another $10K. After the first year or so, travel nursing would become an option. Most companies (from what I hear) want at least a year experience before signing you up, but they pay very very well.

The good thing is my wife works and combined salaries, we'll be doing alright.

Good luck man. From 3:30 to 6:30 today I'm taking my last final for the semester, Data Structures and Algorithms. I can't wait to get it over with and go home!

Congratulations!

Reminds me that my mom is in a tough nursing program at the moment. I think she has one more semester to go. She studies like mad and is first in her program. Definitely some good money to be made in that profession. Hope everything works out for you.
