    haters FTW!
that car looks VERY nice, regardless of what motor is in it. stretched wheels may not be everyones style, but damn,
some of the scmucks on this forum give artwork, front end missing eta boy mike more props than you give this car.
please stop the hating cause im crying.

Don't mind my hating. It's not intended to be personal.
But stretching a 215 or less tire on a 9" rim is as bad as the Honda boys "slamming" their cars with Skunk 2 coilovers on stock shocks.
      Both are ricers.
Anything to fit that 9" rim for "the look". It sure is popular but it's not doing anything for performance....if you care.

I like it. I think the M-tech II bumpers with the side moulding removed looks really good.

And I think those are actually the Reiger E46 M3 sideskirts

a 215/40/16 on a 9" wide rim runs just fine on the road, and grips tons better than a stock tire size. not everything on every car is just for "performance". shit, i paint my car for the look, not the performance, i must be a big time ricer. I have 254/35 on the rear of my car, they are stretched, but im 100% sure they are still larger than your tires patch on the ground. ricer as it might be, I like it.

Well paint is a maintanance item. I'm sure they are stickier than the stock size overall.
              254/35??? 245 35?
How the hell do you know if I run a 285 30 18 or not? Tire patch is only a small portion of the battle. But you might not know that....
Just because you like it doesn't mean you're not a ricer...
I just find it funny that some of you make fun of Honda drivers yet you do the same stupid shit.

Why can people not grasp a simple concert that some people rather build their car to look good rather than go fast?

Afterall, it is a street car, what's illegal on the street? Going fast. What's not illegal on the street? Nice rims and stretched tires.

From the way you guys talk about this guy, would you even want him to have a fast car on the streets? :|

You bring up a very good point! That's exactly what many Honda drivers think as well...yet they get made fun of by Euro car drivers.

I don't know the owner of that car...

Why Hondas? Do you not realize every car group is the same? They have their purpose built track cars, their show and go street cars, their show cars, and the ones with crap body kits and primered bondo holes.

Broaden your horizon and open your mind to all types of cars, afterall, you're a car enthusiast...right? I give credit where credit is deserved, his taste might not be quite like mine, but i can respect his clean and well done car because i respect any car's good work be it for show or go.

                      exactly.

that eta's body work is pretty shoddy though... saw it at waterfest three years ago

actually most guys that "drift" stretch the tires, it gives you grip in the straits and its easier to get sideways around curves and turns.

the simple facts is that the car is built to look simply good, but it looks like shit. those sideskirts are terrible, sorry for anyone who may be using them, some cars look good with them, and those cars are few and far between. the color is ugly, the bodywork is shoddy, and the choice of mods are rather 'ricey' as have been pointed out several times

Yes, but do you understand the concept as to why this is true?

Edit: Just actually took a glance at the picture. Those wheels in that picture are 16x10 in the back and 16x9 in the front. 215/45 in the rear, 215/40 in the front.
