    football fantasy?

    i just one $175 in my dynasty fantasy football league. i know i'm telling a bunch of wrenchers but its more money towards my car. anyone else play?

        Unfortunatly I took 3rd place which is out of the money. Oh well. But it was fun. Nerds can't be the only people who pretend they are something they're not.

          Not nearly as retarded in my mind tho. Never done either, buy FF I might do if the enough of the right friends were doing it. More just something to talk smack to each other about. A lot of guys from work do it, and there's like a $20 buy-in, and like couple dollar fees for trades etc. If you are good, it's like a few hundie if you win, and there's money all the way to 4th in their league. Always thought D&D was ghey tho.

            Fantasy football and baseball are the shit. Im actually more of a baseball guy myself as it requires changes on a daily basis. Finished 2nd in my winner take all football league this year, won two baseball leagues earlier.

                A bunch of meathead jocks who were too dumb to play college ball AND keep the grades to stay in figured out that D&D was a way for the nerdy kids to make themselves feel like big warriors and monsters. The jocks realized that while they could never stoop to the level of being warriors fighting against monsters and dragons, they COULD make themselves feel like warriors on the field by creating a game where they could pretend like they were big, badass footbal players.

                    I love footcball but I never got into the whole fantasy thing.
                    Hey Josh...when was the last time a D&D player won $175.00?? Who cares at that point....it paid off. But I still can't get into it.....so overall I agree with Josh...

                      D&D is dungeons and dragons?

                      I don't see how this could be compared at all. Fantasy football is not a game where you go around and pretend to play football. It's more like running a business than it is playing a game. You must eb smart, and manage a team to give it a chance to win. These "jocks" and "meatheads" you speak of are generally not in fantasy leagues.

                        "Jocks", aka people who enjoy the sport of football are not the only ones that play. I've seen people who could be called nerds and I've seen lots of girls that play. And unlike D&D, you won't blow your chance on getting laid if you mention to a girl that you play.
