The coolness factor is that its an e30. But whoever designed the model must of used a brick and square edge lol. Nothing is accurate on it but the tail lights. Although I do have 6 or so of these. But please post up your work in progress of when you do get it finished.

Will do. I'm going to use some Alpinweiss I from my old e30 to give it the authentic early model color. But yes it lacks quality compared to my other kits like Tamiya, etc. I wasn't expecting much as far as accuracy but couldn't pass up getting on while they are still available. Actually right after taking it out of the box, the front of the roof crack a little due to the flimsy plastic. The pieces connecting the roof to the bottom of the windshield didnt cut away clean and somehow it cracked. Applied a dab of epoxy after I primered it and will sand it down and trim it when I go to apply paint

Any advice on how/what to paint the taillights red since they come clear so that it looks authentic? I've never quite gotten it down

Sharpie markers on the back of the lenses, And then on the body, paint the cove silver or use bare metal foil.

Quick cell phone pic when I had to stop for the moment. Body is primered and awaiting final paint, but first the interior has to be assembled. Next to it is my '55 nomad project that has been pushed (to be finished later) aside for the e30. More to come!

Nova is done... Less a side mirror. Cause I broke it.

No I've been going at it slowly.. Purchased an e39 as a daily driver and have been putting spare time into dinking around with it. So far the interior panels, back seat, console and dash are in place. Going to set the dash and then start on the body. Give it the the AW coat and start spraying and fitting the exterior bits!

                                Pics to come Jason!
