    Anybody eat Guacamaya salsa picante?

Sis and her husband brought me a bunch of local Mex flavor for my Christmas present (including some cane sugar Coke - yessssss!)

Anyhow, just put a mess of this stuff across my Hawaiian pizza - not bad, not as hot as Tapatio, same basic flavor tho.

I generally go for hotter sauce, but I like this stuff. It's got good flavor, and it might be mild enough for parents/ wuss friends.

Ok, I laughed my azz off when I first read this post, but I am a huge salsa fan and sugar cane coke is by far the best. That's how it's also made in my home country of Brasil.

Don't know about your community, but we have a fairly large Hispanic population due to the agriculture industy, and a lot of these folks are migrant, chasing crops and sending the money home to relatives in Mexico. Due to that fact, there are a few local ethnic stores who cater to these folks, usually you have to find that part of the town (sadly it's usually not the best part), but when you find one of these store it's paydirt. Rock bottom prices and awesome good foods. The bottle in the pic is the 2 quart jar I think, and from my Bro-in-law, it's ~$2.50. You can get a ~8 oz. bottle for like $.75
I haven't seen it, but I haven't looked for it either. I liked Tapatio for most everything, and Cholula for sub sandwiches, but Cholula is honky Tapatio, and costs too much. Like $5 for a bottle that is $1.25 Tapatio size.

Another good find is Enchilosa brand cup-o-noodles. Don't do the lime flavor unless you like it warm. It's like Tapatio in boiling water heatwise with a lime/citrus kick, and unless you like Tapatio, it's a waste of your money. They also have pollo (chicken) and a salsa flavor that are much milder. The crazy part is they are like $.30 for one, and these are like the $.80+ cup-o-noodles in a honky grocery store. Personally think it's killer, but I like 2 raw jalapeno peppers with a steak for dinner. If you come across pickled pequin peppers (size of a pea), and you like the Tapatio, get some. You'll be glad you did.
Anyhow, find a town with a decent size Hispanic population, go find one of their grocery stores, and you come across all sorts of good stuff.
If you don't know Spanish, bring a friend who does if you think you need to ask any questions. Otherwise the only thing you'll understand is when the display on the cash register comes up.
It's expensive, but cane sugar Coke is so fricking good you have a hard time bothering with corn syrup soda afterwards.
There's a cane sugar Dr. Pepper plant in TX for those that get hooked. I haven't ordered from there, but you can mailorder cases of the Dr. Pepper.

Just to add, my sis and husband live just on the MX side of the Arizona border running an orphanage, so local meant MX local, not stuff local at the grocery stores in WA.

Even if you were supporting illegal aliens, the ones you support are the good, honest ones. These people live such a hard life that we could never barely identify with. So let your consience be at ease.
Oh, pass on the cheese they sell - just trust me, it's funky.
