Anyone familar with the Lowe's Vendor programs?

I'm debating another job as a Lowe's Vendor since the Vendor i was working for went out of business. Fun job it was and the way i got it was through a direct connection from a friend giving me the district manager's phone number. I've tried searching Google and haven't came up really anything on contacting another Vendor for employeement.

I used to work for Ryno networks, we did Lowe's and home depot (some premade furniture, tools, and faucets I think). Why not ask other vendors if they need more workers? A friend of mine switched to a different company when our job was done (new store, extra employees to do it the first time and such) and they pay him to fly around to stores all over.

That's my problem, i don't know how to contact other Vendors, i've tried searching Google and didn't find anything.

They pay for flight? That's a deal, my company sent me all over the country with my car. =\

Made around $15 an hour for driving though plus free gas, first two (i believe) hours weren't paid though.

Cool job though, got to travel for free. Wouldn't mind living like that for a few years really once i get married, bring the wife along just skip from hotel to hotel and not actually have a home. Save up the money for those years and be able to start a decent life. There was someone working for the company actually doing that, the husband and wife were both employee's.

Hotels have laundry machines and such, meals for the day up to $25 were paid, free cell phone, free toothpaste, soap, shampoo, etc. The money i made pretty much all went to my car.

I unfortionately don't have much experience, i was only working with Triple S Marketing for 3 weeks, i built lighting displays and stocked the new products. I'm in Indiana (says in my info to the left). I may've found a job in the school corporation actually, my mother works for it and may be able to get me on as a warehouse delivery person making around $15 an hour. If that falls through, i'll keep in touch.

The downfall to the vendor job right now is that my girlfriend is in school and can't come along. I got sick of hearing her whine on the phone every night, plus it was kind of lonely being away from home for a full week on my own. I signed up under the impression i'd work Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm. Great hours, gives me three days off and the end of Sunday to travel. Unfortionately, that was never the case, we never did Monday-Thursday, we did Monday-Friday night and our hours were usually 8am-8-9pm, i'd usually stay in the hotel Friday night and come home Saturday morning, i'd get part of the day Saturday to be home, then leave again the next night. Basically, he lied to me and everyone working there complained about working over every single week.

What would my hours be like? And be honest...

40 hour weeks are great, but those 60+ hour weeks sucked, i didn't mind the money rolling in, but i was making more money than i could use, lol.

Setup is a lot harsher than upkeep.

He only got paid flights because I live in Hawaii, and you really can't get too far with just a car :P

You would be hourly and we keep overtime to a minimum. You would be paid mileage, and have an 18 to 20 store territorry. All stores would be within two hours.

That's good, seem a little more organized than the company i worked for.

Someone i was a co-worker with bitched at the manager for being disorganized, he said "That's how we do business"

Obviously not, they're not in business anymore. XD

People constantly walked out on the job because they were sick of the disorganization.
