The best movie I've seen all year. That includes last year. It's worth the 7.50.

What's it about, whpoes in it. I can't remember hearing about this one.Originally posted by cabriodster87"Honey? What color is this wire? Is it the same as that one? Are you sure? I don't believe it. I judged it harshly in my review, mainly because I was hoping for even more (yes), but really compared to any other movie I've seen recently it was a damn good movie. Some of the slow spots bugged me, along with the ending. I swear my friends all have ADD so of course they didn't like it. I paid $18, for 2 people (yeah they make a killing in Arizona) and I'm still glad I saw it. It was limited release Christmas day, and full release this last Friday.

I thought it was a great movie, probably the most realistic post-apocolyptic-type movie I've ever seen. Even though the basis of "women can't have children" doesn't make any sense, the movie is completely believable. After I saw the movie, I told my friend that, if women couldn't have children anymore, the first thing we'd do is start killing everyone who was already alive until there was no one left.1988 325ic Automatic

Clive Owen is in it, so it can't be bad. ;)
I had planed on seeing it when I saw the preview in the theater. Looks pretty good and apparently is.Comment

^ i'm still a little upset Clive isn't James Bond because he'd be perfect for it.
It wasn't just the plot that I liked. It was the cinematography and the sound editing. Most of the movie was shot in first person which is basically a guy holds a camera and runs around the set to give the viewer more of a feeling like we're in it. Also, during the movie I couldn't figure out what was keeping me so enthralled. Then I realized that there was hardly a soundtrack in the background of the movie except for a couple key times. They brought the sound of the wind, rain, gun shots etc. way up. this also made me feel like I was there experiencing it. Also, I read that the combat scene was shot in 3 continuous takes. wow.Originally posted by Hawt drift chickYeah, i'm a good dude i swear, i just like to be balls to the wall.Comment

Yeah, the only movie that I remember that didn't have any soundtrack (or very little) was Dog Day Afternoon. That added a lot to that movie too.1988 325ic Automatic
